Is It Right For You?

Back to the overview

Orkanizer is a very well designed and easy to use web service for managing Pomodors if you don’t want to clutter up your system by installing application for it, and if your work requires you to perform tasks on multiple computers.

Orkanizer, also known as ORK(CL) Online is a nifty web-based resource to handle nearly anything in your life that needs organizing. One of the nicest things about it is easy to notice from the beginning: the fact that you have multiple options for exactly how you want to use it, from a quick tour and demo to anonymous usage to setting up a registered (free!) account so your work is saved and can be accessed at a later time or date. This kind of multi-flexibility is apparent throughout the entire Orkanizer system and is one of the biggest strengths it has, in my opinion.

Orkanizer is a clean, minimalist environment that sets the stage for productivity and focus. It would be great to implement these ideas in an iPad and iPhone app that syncs to the account. Would be willing to pay for this service.

I love such simple, clear and elegant user interface.

Un outil Pomodoro complet avec ou sans enregistrement. Gestion des pomodoros, des priorités, des interruptions, historique, statistiques et bien plus. Ergonomie perfectible, mais impressionnant dans l’ensemble. J’adore.

I am very pleased to find Orkanizer! Simple and practical interface.

Many thanks! With Orkanizer I have just had three productive days in a row! This is very unusual for me :D

I am very pleased to find Orkanizer! Simple and practical interface. Thank you for Orkanizer!

Didn't read the manual. And, yet, understood everything. Very intuitive. Nice application. Keep on keeping on with it. Cheers! London Chap

I try the pomodoros from time to time, especially when I seem to be flailing around in a creative panic and getting nothing done. The timer is a great motivator sometimes. And I do just as you seem to be doing: work until the ding, then get up and fold a batch of clothes or walk around outside or something. My one change iss to use a 15 minute timer. I frequently reset the timer instantly and end up working in 45 or 60 minute chunks between breaks. Good luck with rebalancing the load...

Dani.

The Pomodoro Technique is a productivity technique that has worked for me better than any others. I find that it helps break down activities into manageable chunks by a slightly gamified process. It also helps me fight against procrastination, especially when that procrastination is due to perfectionism.
